An Indian who can speak Hessian ... 😏 I was only a little irritated when a pretty Indian woman greeted me in a rather sober, rustic room furnished with bombs. The menu read delicious and manageable and we opted for "Heaven and Hell" and "Potatoes with gratinated hand cheese" ... and two large sprinkled apples ... It was soooooooooooooooooo delicious! And the cherry michel with hot vanilla sauce ... was perfect! A really nice friendly service and the Hessian cuisine is just great ... Come back..!!! Update: Been there umpteen times ... it's just unbelievably delicious and everyone I bring there is thrilled! Calf's liver is currently on the weekly menu ..... and you can just sit in, it is made so delicate and fine. And the service is unbeatably nice, courteous and committed. And I really like when the boss isn't too keen to lend a hand! ♥ ️👍 ♥ ️

Great little neighborhood restaurant serving hardy and authentic German dishes with the choice of in and outdoor seating. Our waitress's pleasant demeanor, and her ability to speak English (in our case) added to the relaxed atmosphere. A full bar, including your basic draft beers, rounded out our experience.

A restaurant right at an intersection with outside seating. The service was extremely friendly. The dishes offered are mostly regional and the schnitzel with green sauce was very tasty. Everything is priced within the framework. We were served very quickly and got a table straight away.

The staff is always extremely hardworking and gallant without ceasing! I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. We will definitely return. Your humble self would have loved to taste me first, but then there would not have been the slightest space for the good food. We think the restaurant is suitable for all events, whether with friends, family or friends.

The restaurant is old-established and belongs to Frankfurt. Here you can find typical regional specialities as well as dishes for guests who would like to eat something different. The food tastes great, the portions are large and the prices fair, although the products are from the region. If you visit Frankfurt and would like to try typical Frankfurt dishes, then you can come here and eat with a clear conscience and won't regret it :)

We ate outside, the location is sub-optimal (right at the intersection). The food was consistently good, sometimes even very good. Priced at normal Frankfurt level. Would go again

The beef steak was good, at reasonable price. But it was Valentine's Day and without reservation, we were not allowed to get desserts and were asked to leave.

The food is tasty, the prices are reasonable, the staff is welcoming. But remember to have cash or card, pay pass won't work there.

Small restaurant with delicious food that is served quickly. The portions are very good for the price and perfectly adequate. There are also some Frankfurt specialists on the map. However, as a group of 9, we all opted for schnitzel, which is also available in different variations. I gave a small deduction in the rating, as there are not necessarily unusual dishes and there is also a little bit of space to walk between the bar and the tables.

This place is on another level. The prices are high but they essentially give you two meals worth of food. The portion sizes are huge. The one complaint is that they wouldn’t just give me a cup of water and instead force people to pay 2 euro for a single use plastic bottle, which is both a rip off and bad for the planet

The traditional food menu is very interesting. It is a cozy restaurant and good service.

I stopped here on my last day in Frankfurt. The restaurant was close to my hotel which made it an ideal place to stop for food. I'm not exactly sure about what I ordered but I can say that the food here was ok. Some of the dishes were quite oily but overall we were satisfied with our meal.

We shared the Frankfurter Platter - it was more than enough for two. Delicious!

You know when you have a first bite and you look at your partner and silently nod to each other? This place had it. The service and schnitzel were out of this world. I've only been to Frankfurt once and I know if I ever come back we will stop by. Thanks for the wonderful experience! :)

Good local cuisine

Nice food! Delicious calamari!

The food was delicious and the portions are more than we could eat. Staff was great too! This resturant was recommended at the hotel when we asked for a traditional German meal and they hit it out of the park. Wish we were staying longer so we could try more things!
